Abstract
Oats Bran Contains Beta Glucans, A Cholesterol Lowering Chemical. Flaxseed Is Emerging As An Important Functional Food Ingredient Because Of Its Rich Contents Of α-linolenic Acid (ALA), Lignans, And fiber. Lignans Appear To Be Anti-carcinogenic Compounds.
